We were so glad to have my sister, Katie, come from Jacksonville to visit us this weekend. It has been a few months since she's seen Benjamin, but he really took to her.
He stared at her for a long time and then grabbed her finger.

Benjamin has gotten much less cooperative during bottle feedings since Katie was here last, but he managed to stay still for her one time. He has recently been putting the backs of his hands against his eyes while eating (at least when he's not trying to hold the bottle) - this seemed to start after we got him on a more regular nap schedule, though I don't know why those two things would be related.
Tumble time with Daddy. Mike rolls him like a log from one end of the bed to the other...
...then swings him from side to side in the air.
It's hard to tell in this still shot, but Katie and Benjamin are dancing along to an awesome mix tape Katie made for him. Katie also fulfilled her role as the aunt who spoils him by buying him several adorable outfits while she was here. I'm sure there will be pictures of them soon. Mike took on full baby duty yesterday so that Katie and I could go out for lunch and shopping - a special treat for me. Katie got to witness Benjamin eating oatmeal for the first time (we found out that he really likes oatmeal). She claims she did not wake up in the middle of the night when he fussed, but I'm sure she's a little happy to be back at her much quieter home with her husband and cat.

Hi, again! Benjamins' expressions are priceless! Glad Kate was able to come up. I like the picture where Benjamin is holding Kates' hand as they watch tv. Also glad that Mike jostels Benjamin. They say that teaches a child trust and confidence. Nice you could get out with Kate, Sarah! You earn your time I'm sure. Love, Dad
