Georgia Aquarium

Before we left Georgia in August we took Ben to the aquarium in Atlanta. It's only a couple years old and we heard it was good. We weren't sure how Ben would tolerate it but wanted to take advantage of the opportunity while we were there. It was a weekday and not very crowded, so we started out with him in the stroller.

Once he saw these jellyfish, he was permanently out of the stroller.

These pictures don't do it justice - the jellyfish were bright orange, and Ben was mesmerized.

Right after this shot he started running all over the place.

This is a really neat glass tunnel that goes through a huge tank with sharks and stingrays and a ton of fish. I thought Ben would love it; he was rather lukewarm. Later he found some little display with some large orange crabs that he became obsessed with. I rarely predict what he's gonna like.

Ben's attention span was pretty short so we made it through the whole, huge aquarium in 45 minutes. Mike and I could have spent several hours there. Oh how our lives have changed. Ben did seem to enjoy himself and we're glad we made the trip.
