Phones

Maddy loves real phones, toy phones, and any object that she can pretend is a phone.  Which is just about everything.

It's for you!

Double-fisting it for a conference call.

In the middle of saying "hi," because that the only word she says into phones.

Later that day, coming back to the remote/phone.

Perhaps someone tried to tell her that's not a phone.

Forgetting about the phone and watching TELEVISION.

SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL! MADDY IS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL AND SPECIAL CHILD. In a a previous blog you said she is the light of your life and the world is a better place with her in it. That is an understatement! This kid could rule the world. We are so anxious to see all of you again! Love, Dad

I remember the first time Johanna picked up a calculator and acted like it was a phone. I thought it was odd until I realized: a calculator (rectangle with buttons and a little screen) looks more like a phone to her than a rotary phone toy does!

Our latest phone-related story was Johanna in the bathtub the other day, pretending to hold a phone and saying hi to the Man in the Yellow Hat from the Curious George stories...

Love the Maddy pics!
