Miss Independent
Both of these videos were taken the same day Maddy had her follow-up MRI a few days ago. She had been under general anesthesia so I expected her to be dragging and cranky for the rest of the day. Instead she climbed and crawled all over the place. She sacked out the next day, though. In this first video, she's climbing the stairs (she's gotten quicker) and says "up" several times. Kind of hard to hear. That's a new word for her - she used to only be able to say the "puh" sound without the "uh" at the beginning.
Here I was trying to keep her walking toy from going too fast and making her fall, but she swatted my hand away. This is how she gets back down to the floor from a standing position - it looks like she's falling but she knows what she's doing.

Good for you, Maddy! Good for you! You're just like your Great Grandma Donahue. We called her "The Unsinkable Molly Brown!" You and your Mother have great spirit. Love, Grandpa D.
