Ben has been super excited about Valentine's Day. He had a countdown going for two weeks. Last week I helped him make a box to bring to preschool for Valentine's Day cards. I was prepared with colored paper, scissors, crayons, markers, paint, and stickers.
All he wanted to do was paint. He asked me to help him paint a heart, then painted over it. Just red. He said red is his favorite color. He did use two different brushes.
This past weekend we called Nana and she was trying to ask if he got the Valentine's card that she and Pap-pap sent him. He wanted to talk about the cards he made for school. Nana asked if he got any money in the card she sent him. Then she asked what he was going to do with the money. He already squirreled it away in his piggy bank. He then abruptly says goodbye (an unnerving habit of his) and realizes the camera is pointed in his direction.
