We're in Germany!

Here's a rundown of our travels: a week ago today, we took a flight from Atlanta to Baltimore. Ben did great, with the help of some lollipops. When we tried to check into the next flight going to Germany, we were told it was "delayed 24 hours" which sounds a lot like a cancellation to me, but they stuck with "delay." They put us up in a nice hotel room...which didn't have a separate room for Ben or a litterbox for Calvin (who ended up peeing on our bed instead of the makeshift litterbox I made for him). One of the good things that came out of the delay was that my folks met us in Baltimore and got to go to dinner with us.

The next day, we finally got on the plane to Germany. It was large and crowded, and there was a screaming toddler in the row in front of us. But Ben did pretty well, considering. He had a few moments of screaming/crying but he was a trooper. Calvin looked terrified after spending the flight in cargo. Our sponsor and his wife picked us up from the airport. They are incredibly nice people, and very generous with their time.

I caught a cold yesterday and need to get to bed, so I'll skip the parts about where we've been living for the last week and the annoying task of hunting for a place to stay. So last night we found a really slick duplex with a bunch of bedrooms, 2 large living areas, a small yard with a swingset, and a decent sized kitchen. It had just been listed, and we jumped on it. We just signed the contract tonight. Hopefully we'll be able to move in two or three weeks from now.

Sorry that we have no pictures this time, but we've had VERY limited internet access (also very little time).
