Our little lion and his Halloween basket. Nope, no candy in there yet.

Getting ready to go out the door. Many households don't participate in traditional trick-or-treating around here (I think mostly for religious reasons), so Mike only took Benjamin to a few houses on our street. He even came back with some candy!

Coming back home.

The patented Benjamin face.

It was just starting to turn cool & the costume was really warm, so we didn't try to put socks on him. He refused to put his hands in the paws.

Finally, a smile!

We had to get a tail shot. By this time of the evening, he was ready to get out of the lion costume and go back to being Benjamin. We ended up only having a handful of trick-or-treaters, but the doorbell was rung several times...and there was not one peep out of Benjamin from his crib!
