Okay, so it was really Mike who was upset about the game (though not quite
that upset). Benjamin was having a meltdown because I was three milliseconds too slow in getting him more food.

Benjamin is discovering that he can not only: 1. grab things and 2. put his fist in his mouth, but that he can put things he grabs with his fist into his mouth - well, at the same time as his fist, anyway. My finger is the prey here.

I have no idea what he's trying to do with his tongue here, but he was doing it for a long time. He was also fascinated by his musical aquarium - he usually glances at it for a few seconds and is on to the next piece of entertainment.

He really does occasionally look at the pictures in his books, but the camera always grabs his attention. This book is short enough that we almost always get to the end before he blows a gasket.

Yum, rattle. I think Katie's right...I told her how Benjamin has been really fussy lately and having more crying fits than usual, and she was like, "oh, he's teething?" and I was all, "no, he's not to that stage yet, he's just crying for no reason." But I'm pretty sure I was wrong. And Aunt Katie's right. Again. Like how she knew when I'd deliver. How do you know these things??

My heart melts when he smiles like this. No, he did not skin his knee while walking down the driveway to get the mail, he scratched himself something fierce with one of those wicked little fingernails. Actually, he scratched himself twice; the second time was when he scratched the scab off from the first time.
Dare I say it - I think he's edging toward eating every three hours instead of every two. I've tried offering more formula to encourage more time between feedings, but he hasn't been receptive to it until this week, when he's been demanding it. If his eating habits now are any indication of what kind of eater he'll be when he starts solids, we won't have to worry about him being picky or stingy.
Sure do love it when people post comments! (hint hint)

Love hearing from you--You guys really make me smile!! Love, Mom, Nana
Hey, It's Nana again. I just had a thought--that picture of Ben having a meltdown, along with the caption would be a hoot to send to the Yankees. Sarah, you really need to become a writer. You have a gift. Mike, Jerry and I haven't seen you happier than you are since the birth of our little (or not so little) Ben. Love to all, Nana
he is changing and growing so fast! I just love getting on your blog, especially if I'm having a bad day at work, I know I can go and pay a virtual visit to my special great nephew. Sarah, thanks for keeping up with the postings and your whimsical comments. Even if I don't post a comment very often, please know that I really do enjoy this and always look forward to new pics of your precious little one (and also you and Mike too!) Can't wait to see you all very soon. Lots of love, Aunt Janie.
I miss you guys! I really wish you lived closer. He is so cute in the last picture. I agree with your mom, you should be a writter - you have great comments to your pictures. Can't wait to see you this summer!
Some possible reasons for Benjamins tantrum other than the Yankee opener or feeding time. He just realized he might have inherited Grandpa Donahue's nose! He is simply practicing for initiation into the Huh Yelling Society! He can't play the trumpet as well as his Dad or write a blog as good as his mother. Love you guys! Grandpa Donahue
I agree with Mom. You should definitely send that picture to the Yankees. I can't wait for May! I love your blog. It makes my day.
I don't know what happened but I did post a comment yesterday. oh well. I was showing Uncle Chris the Headliner to this week's blog's and he thinks its simply the fact that he has to wear that Yankees outfit. It could be worse though, he could be wearing Phils stuff! I hate to admit it but I too have to agree with the rest of this family that you missed your true calling and you need to write!!! You all look wonderful and cannot wait until July. Thanks for the recipes. I am trying them out on Beef and Andrea this weekend. I will gather some of my favs and send them your way.
love you all and talk to you soon.
Aunt Rachel
